Seattle rabble-rousers Night Beats specialize in squalling, reverb-blasted garage rock that openly pays homage to the psych and soul leanings of forbearers The Zombies. Night Beats are one of the highlights of Austin Psych Fest and they toured with bands like The Black Angels, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Roky Erikson, Black Lips and The Strange Boys. 

RENT BOYS

The Rent Boys met at sailor training camp. Sounds wholesome enough, right? They grew up to be five cross-dressing garage rockers. They tend to stick out in a city like Leeds. In the months following the release of their debut 7”, the band developed their own psychotic cult of the cute. It’s a happy arrangement; they show up and put on a performance somewhere between The Cramps and Iggy Pop.

AL LOVER (DJ set) 

Al Lover is a producer from San Francisco, but there's more layers to his wall of sound then meets the ear. Over the last few years he has gained much notoriety for his melding of contemporary and past garage and psychedelic rock into harsh yet spacey abrasive beats.
