The Orb - CANCELLED

Live A/V Show

Please list show and inform any customers of the show cancellation and issue refunds.

Please can we just issue a statement that due to "unforeseen circumstances" the show is cancelled.

In honesty we don't mind telling the truth. The band have new management, who recently took over well after the shows had been agreed, on sale and advertised.
The new management want to 'move the goalposts' shall we say. Altering the deal and the show. Only providing us with 1 member of the band and no A/V set as is an integral part of the live show. Therefore essentially limiting it to a DJ. We refused, collectively in affiliation with all the other UK promoters, that we would all remove the shows on this run in this basis. As this is particularly bad practice and disrespectful to the promoters and the customers alike.
We definitely did not want to give any customers a mis-advertised show. Not on our part, but on the part, or possibly the band, but of the band's management's decision.
With this in mind we decided to pull the shows and cancel.
We regret and are frustrated we cannot really tell the full picture to our customers, however we feel it be in best practice to just issue a statement of 'unforeseen circumstances'.
We apologise for any inconvenience, we too are severely frustrated.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
Brudenell
