Out of Spite presents...

and none of them knew they were robots

+ Bivouac + Cowtown + Sames (ex Spy vs Spy)

Out of Spite are pleased to bring you a special one off Leeds return for And None of Them Knew They Were Robots!

Forged in the crucible of the now-legendary early 2000s Leeds punk scene, the Robots bled, boozed and broke themselves into pieces all in the name of an intense post-hardcore built on influences stretching from Braid to Cave-in.

Now, fifteen years on from their debut, record they reunite to mark the release of a complete discography. Attendance compulsory, tops optional.

Also supporting are Derby Legends Bivouac!

Following a 20 year break Derby-based Elemental / Geffen band Bivouac are back and playing only handful of gigs in 2016 and we are lucky to be putting on one of them!

Bivouac were picked up by renowned indie label Elemental in 1992. With the label they released Derby and Joan (NME voted this one of the Top Ten Indie Albums of 1992) and Tuber. Their indie success was so great that they signed to major label Geffen to release 1995's Full Size Boy but disbanded after with members of the trio going on to work on solo projects and in other bands.

A strongly melodic sound layered with loud guitars Bivouac took influence from the American grunge scene of the time but stand alongside other Derby legends like Cable as influencing many of the bands that followed in the next two decades.

Other Support comes from the Awesome Cowtown and Sames which is the new Spy Vs Spy band featuring Martin, Mark and Doog
