+ The Harriets + Becky Bowe @ Hyde Park Book Club
Emily Capell is a singer-songwriter and musician from North West London. Her songs tell stories of celebrity lust, musical influences, and general adolescence. Capell, whose musical stylings draw from a pool deep and wide, is affectionately described as sounding like the adopted daughter of Jamie T and Billy Bragg, and a distant relative of The Clash and The Libertines. With weekly residencies at Camden Town's Proud Gallery and Dublin Castle under her belt, as well as a string of big festival appearances such as Glastonbury and Lattitude, Emily is building an impressive fan base. Performing live sessions on BBC Radio London and Radio X, her single Joey had its debut play on 6Music from London's very own Night tsar Amy Lame. The 2017 tour in the Middle East and South Africa which co-insides with her third EP. Watch a video, listen to some music, watch the vlog, view the feeds, browse the shop and make a note of those all important tour dates for both Emily's solo and full band shows.
