Tokyo Sound Land

Yuppies Music is proud to present the first instalment of ‘Tokyo Sound Land’ a triple billed package of three of Japans leading live producers.  A seamless B2B show of three 45 minute live performances from Ametsub, Daisuke Tanabe and Anchorsong.  Sonically travelling through atmospheric, soundscapes and field recordings and jumping into the tight bass and melodic scratches of Ametsub, the stop start DnB experimentalism of Daisuke and the bright, African inspired techno of Anchorsong. 

Anchorsong, Released his second album ‘Ceremonial’ on Tru Thoughts this year to critical acclaim, awarded album no.5 of 2016 by BBC6Music, toured across UK, Europe, USA and Asia and performed for GP on Worldwide FM.  Daisuke Tanabe, RBMA aluminate who has previously released on Project Mooncircle, toured and gigged with the likes of Shigeto, Onra and Kidkanevil. Ametsub, Respected worldwide as one of the greatest underground electronic producers, released on Ninja Tunes subsidiary Blueberry and a favorite with Sonar Festivals.

This tour will be accompanied by a 12” EP release from Yuppies Music featuring music from all three artists.
